NO!!! I got 3 red lights for the 4 time ...

I am fed up with the refurbished CRAP that M$ puts out to replace broken 360's.  I bought my first 360 late June of last year and now realize i need a 4th xbox 360! Usually for me i see signs of hardware failure over time (like 2 weeks) but this time is started freezing and locked up in a SINGLE day.Do i have horrible luck or is this happenin to everybody cuz this is rediculous. When i bought i (stupidly) expected to have that same 360 for years but no and what really ticks me off is that this is the 1st time i actually have to pay the overdue warranty fine $139. Anyway i just want to see how cheap M$ is. Please vote.NO!!! I got 3 red lights for the 4 time ...
I'm on my second, but I didn't really need to turn in my first. I've only had 2 problems with this one. The first is getting 1 red light every once and a while. The second is having to warm it up by turning it on twice before it will start. No other problems except the standard heat/noise.NO!!! I got 3 red lights for the 4 time ...
If it's less then a year it's free, you know you can demand a new 360 over the phone?
That sucks, i didnt have to pay for mine. My 1st 360 was a launch one and my second just broke so i'm waiting on my third.
well mine just broke for the first time and I sent if off.
well mine just broke for the first time and I sent if off.
Mines going to purolator tommorow ;(
i tried ''numbah2'' but it didn't work! they claim i bought it in March '06 but my b-day's in June and i got it then... go figure. anyway i argued the point and it all boiled down to a receipt which i definitely don't have now!

Well, yeah, you need that...And I REALLY wish I could change my name...
yea a reciept thats what sucks! actually last time this happened (on the 3rd 360) my mom argued them down and made it free. this time the service kept quoting the warranty and it was all no use. they gave a 25% discount but that was $104 and how often does a 15 yr. old kid have that kind of money when games cost $60 ?? oh well i really just wonna see how many ppl were fooled into buying a 360...
Haven't had a problem with mine, and its a refurb I bought on eBay (I know, I'm cheap) Came witha  year warrenty though so I'm covered for a while.
i still have my first xbox 360 that i got on febuary 17th 2007 and its going strong
I'm on my second.  Got both repaired for free but I had to see them $140 dollars the second time.  I eventually got a refund but it took a while.
Fix it yourself and never have to send it in again.
Oh well i got my third in December so it would only be logical that u are still on your 1st
and how exactly would i fix it myself? i'm clueless on what to do after i get the back panel off besides isn't that modding in a way?

sorry, that sucks.  i'm on my first one that i got for christmas this past year...december 06.  and actually it was given to me early so really i got it in november.  but i don't really play it too much.
i still have my first xbox 360 that i got on febuary 17th 2007 and its going strong
That's what i thought with mine, i've had mine since June of 06 and it was running very well until out of nowhere it gave me three red lights last week. And you've only owned it for four months so there's nothing to really get excited over. Wait til about 10 month mark to a year and you will probably have a problem with it. Most people i know have had theres replaced or fixed and i know a lot of people with 360's.
I just got a new 360 on saturday....and I also got my old one to work on sunday by useing that towel trick.(i got the three rings of death)
