How can these people like tenchu??

take a look over at the tenchu z boards... there ppl that like that game. one topic even saidDEMO HAS ME SOLD! are you kidding me? were desperate for this type of genre but not this desperate. whens someone gonna come out and make a good stealth ninja game? How can these people like tenchu??
I think people are being too harsh on this game. If you actually play the demo a couple times threw it starts to get kinda fun finding different ways to pull off the stealth kills and finding a new entry points. This could have deffinately been better, but I personally don't think it's as bad as you're saying. It's a lot like Vampire Rain, which sucks at first, but then you get into it just because of how bad it is lol.  How can these people like tenchu??
Different people, different tastes.  After playing the demo, I can safely say that it's not my cup of tea, and I won't be buying it.  All I can say is, thank god for demos! ;)

Quite honestly, I thought the demo of Tenchu Z was medicore. It was quite boring, you could only do three sword-slashes, and you could only jump like a regular person, not really like a ninja. I'd much rather wait for Ninja Gaiden, 'cause THAT'S a good Ninja game!

Tenchu isn't a bad game, but theres a lot of things wrong with Tenchu Z, for instance:The graphics are about PS2 level. Characters look bad, animations look bad, everything else looks washed out.It's nothing new. I could go back and play Tenchu for PSone, and it'd look like a PSone game, but it'd pretty much play the same.The AI is just dumb. If you see a ninja, you don't give up looking for it in 20 seconds. You stay on your toes until that ninja is dead or else you'll be dead. they also appear to be short sighted and slightly deaf.It takes two buttons to block? I know it's all about the stealth killing, but when you come to a boss like at the end of the demo, that's not going to work so well.  That's all I could deduce from the demo.

I've not played the demo yet but I'm slightlky interested in the game as it has online multiplayer and I'd love to see how it turns out.
Well as humans they have the right to like and hate what the want.:P
Tenchu is easily the WORST Xbox 360 game I have ever played.  Terrible graphics, terrible controls, terrible AI, terrible sound, terrible level design.  I will never dirty up my 360 with that trash.  I will be very suprised if it gets over a 3.5.
I have to agree, its awful im afraid.
