NHL 07 Roster HELP!!!!!!!!!!

OK so I am trying to get online to play and EVERY time that I get offered a game or invite to play it tells me that there is a roster update and that I must download. So I download and save and of course by that time the other player has left the game. I downloaded and saved that damn roster like 7 or 8 times before I said screw it and turned the game off and then posted this topic. Any help would be GREAT! Thanks
