Problem with steering wheel

I've just bought the 360 steering wheel but I have some problems with getting it working.What I've done:I've connected the footpanel and the wheel itself, inserted the batteries and finally I've inserted the disc with PGR3 and the drivers, but in the manual it says that a screen will pop up telling you that it's updating automatically but nothing happens, and when I try to connect the wheel to the 360 by pressing the button in the middle, it just blinks. What am I doing wrong? Problem with steering wheel

Just sync the steering wheel to the console. You probably already have the latest steering wheel drivers from the latest update. Just sync it and you should be good to go.
You need to Bind the controller just like any other wireless controller, Hit the little button near the Headphone port, then hit the little button below the memory cards.  After that IN any game make sure to go to the controller section in the menu and select the Racing wheel.  That way all the settings are tuned for the racing wheel.
