so I'm buying a new 360...got a question ...

So my 360 broke about an hour ago and its a launch console. I'm planning on running over to best buy tomorrow and buying a core with a 2 year plan. My question is, will everything on my hardrive work ok even though its on a new console. I've heard some things are tied to your actual system, is there any truth to this? so I'm buying a new 360...got a question ...
no it should be alright im running off my brothers core as mine died to (funny isnt it how everyones launch system is breaking) but yeah im fine shouldnt be a problem so I'm buying a new 360...got a question ...
i'm on my 7th 360 now but i have had the same hard drive the entire time. i've only run across maybe two games with content that was tied to the system, almost all the rest is just tied to your XBL account so you don't have to redownload it or anything, it's still on your hard drive..

The only problem that I believe you would run into is that if you decide to play your Xbox 360 offline, then your purchased Arcade games would revert to trials until you signed back in to Live.
