I feel your pain. I had to roll a new character because I fled a dungeon with close to zero health and the game auto saved upon my exiting, and everytime I loaded the game I would die because it was daytime. As for the cure, well, thanks to my stupid decision I never found where anything was... but Gamespot probably has a game guide with a really handy walkthrough.
