360 Elite availability

Does anyone know if Xbox 360 Elite (brand new, of course) are still available?360 Elite availability
i've seen some at best buy around here and im from philadelphia but i dont know if they have it we you live360 Elite availability
There are none here in the UK, so im guessing us europeans will have to wait a little longer....again.
i just bought one yesterday from circuit city, chech their online page and it will tell you the availability of it at the nearest stores around you, i saw it online yesterday that they were available and went in and they didn't even have them on the shelve yet so just keep looking
Dude...bad idea. Wait for the 45nm to begin manufacturing...which should be sometime in September. Then, buy a premium. The Elite ain't worth it, esp with hardware failure concerns.
my bestbuy has only received 8, in FL since the launch, and that 8 was during the memorial day weekend.
It took me awhile to find mine.  I had to drive all the way to Cocoa Beach from Orlando to get it.  But i didnt just go to get the Xbox.  I visites family that i havent seen in awhile as well.  Win win situation
it all depends on where you live. you can find them all over where i live.
they claim the smaller chip will be coming out later this year, but it was already supposed to be out late last year to early this year and it obviously isn't, i waited for like 5 months to take my messed up 360 so i could try to get the smaller chip and it still hasn't come out, don't sit around waiting for it like that guy said cuz you'll just be disappointed, for the record i was still able to play my 360 it just froze all the time because of a faulty harddrive i later found out
Dude...bad idea. Wait for the 45nm to begin manufacturing...which should be sometime in September. Then, buy a premium. The Elite ain't worth it, esp with hardware failure concerns.
Dude - first it's 65nm - not 45nm.  Secondly the Elite already has an upgraded CPU, GPU and Motherboard over the Premium (though not the 65nm) - let alone a larger hard drive and HDMI which will be neccessary if you plan on buying a new TV in the next few years to use with the 360.So your post is in general pretty far off base.  The smaller core CPU will do absolutely nothing for performance - it's just less expensive for MS giving them more profit margin and will run a little cooler.  To wait for that is an absolutely rediculous idea - and the Elite is technically superior already - hence the CPU, GPU and Motherboard revisions in it.Sorry to burst your bubble.  Here is a quote and a link to TeamXbox citing the hardware revisions in the Elite that I just spoke about:''Both the CPU and GPU both sport different revision information on the chips but its hard to say whether or not 65nm has been implemented. One of the more interesting observations that seems to point to lower power consumption implying a possible 65nm core is the fact that there are some capacitors and transistors that have been removed on this revision of board.''http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/13303/Xbox-360-Elite-Naked/Also to the original poster - the Elite IS NOT a special edition - this has been confirmed by MS as a rumor - they plan on continuing the Elite line with it's current sku.  If they aren't available today - keep checking your retailers - don't give up.  Make sure and check the off the wall places too - like Walmart and Fred Meyers.
