720p - 1080i

Which do you prefer? Which makes for a clearer picture, more (interlaced) lines, or progressive scan (with less lines)?720p - 1080i
whatever you Tv's native res is will generally give you the best picture 720p - 1080i
I have a 27'' 1080i CRT, and 32'' 720p LCD. Both are Samsungs. I enjoy playing my 360 in 720p.
The Xbox 360's native resolution is 720p.  Normally it will look the best, but 1080i will still give you an HD look.
720p, Cooler number and letter= Better setting

It also depends what the game is, some games look better in certain resolutions. I think 720p is better than 1080i, 1080i doesn't look any sharper to me. I have an LCD which supports 1080p so you would think that looks the best, but some games don't like it, i.e you can get some pretty major screen tearing. Just experiment for yourself until you are happy.
on bigger tvs i think 1080i is better but on small or medium probably use 720p
