I fixed my XBOX360 but i have a question ...

I used the heat gun fix on my 360 when it had the Ring of Death, my 360 is working fine now but im scared its going to stop. When i was fixing my 360 i noticed there was some melted plastic like thing on the bottom of the heatsink that covers the gpu. Then i noiced this plastic stuff was melted all over the GPU. Is this why my 360 messed up in the first place, and if anyone knows how i would take the stuff off or is there somthing i can put on it to help it. Ill post pics soon of what m tlking about if know one knows what im talking about. Thanks for the help.I fixed my XBOX360 but i have a question ...
bump any one know anything about this stuff?I fixed my XBOX360 but i have a question ...
you should go to llama.com. I heard of the whole heat gun stuff on that website. You should check their message boards too.
get a fan blowing on it..?
my 360 is working fine now, i just wanted to know what the glue stuff is on the gpu chip, is it suppose to be there, its only on a certain area of the chip.
Just send it in to Microsoft and get it fixed for free....
It's too late for that now. He opened the 360...no turning back now as i don't think microsoft will take it
If you guys knew enything about technology youde know its thermal grease. it helps to draw heat from the CPU/GPU to the heatsink. its a good thing so dont go and remove it.
